Hip Hop vs. America (The World) V. 7 (Nelly, Chuck D)

Nellie should have started with respecting his sister while she was alive and not exploited those working-poor women for his video on how cheap it is to buy a Black woman. It pains me deeply that this man doesn't seem to get this AT ALL, and while his eye is steadily on the cash, he will never hear Black people. Even though Nelie is the weakest nigger I've ever seen, even he deserves compassion for who am I not to recognize when somebody is totally spiritually void and needs help.

Have you seen the uncensored version of his video Tip Drill? It made me nauseous. Nellie should have respected his sister while she was alive and not produced such images, and commodified Black women -like his sister. This is horrible and makes me think that American is in a world of trouble, since this is what er'body is buying...white kids give him the money to rent Black women and er'body seems comfortable wit dat!

Then Nellie goes on to brag about how he and his niggas be th'owin' money in the air, presumably because that's all it takes to get these hos in check. Lest we not get the picture, the video closes with the now famously referenced scene where Nellie slides a credid card down the crack of a near naked woman's ass, and she starts jiggling it! Now, supposing that this was not Nellie's sister, or a close relative of any of those brothers rapping on the tape, how do they come to terms with this relationship that America has with Black women? From Nellie's statements on Hip-Hop vs America, his has no clue of the ideology that he supports; apparently the crumbs that record labels pay him is enough to shit him up and that's what's scary about America. He will denigrate himself for money and defend his right to do so even at to total expense of anyone who looks like him in a widely racist world. It literally pains me and brings tears of rage to me. Yet, at least I know the type: Nellie is a classic whack sell-out!

Again, Nellie is a whack sell-out. WHile hes talking about paying thee video hoes money to feed their kids, has he ever stopped to consider the conditions in which those BROWN and BLACK babies live? Would he ever rap about kids from low-income families having their lunches taken away because their credit is overdue and nobody found the time to sign the free-lunch request form? Does Nellie listen to Black women or only engage them like he does in the videos? And why des white America adore such disempowered Negroes? Oh, I think I answered my own question.
